Chulu Far East Peak Climbing is not difficult climbing and mountaineering destination in the Annapurna region which lies to the north of the main Annapurna Himalayan. It is one of the best and easy climbing peaks in Nepal and it is an excellent and charming view of the mountain. This is an attractive peak that rises north of Marsyangdhi Khola in the Manang region of Himalayan Nepal. The trek approaches go through the Annapurna Circuit Trek. The climb is combined with an acclimatization trek to allow climbers to be fully prepared to altitude before attempting the summit. We will see mainly Tamang, Gurung, Magar, and Rai people on this route. At the time of trekking, we get chance to know about the Culture, tradition, and the lifestyle of Gurung people who are the local inhabitant of this route. All type of people can join in the witness amazing culture of high hills tribes of Gurung and Magar community people. The climbing is an exciting peak mountaineering option for that trekker who would love to go to experience adventure in the Annapurna region. The Chulu Far East Peak Climbing along with the lush forest of Pine, Oak, and bamboo forest which offers an opportunity to increase fitness and hectic with the subalpine zone.

Chulu Far East Peak Climbing begins from Chame after 9 to 10 hours drive from Kathmandu valley. It is an area where a Hugh glacial moraine from fantastic rock pillars. Most of the people of this region are influenced by the Buddhism. This is not difficult and the terrain passes through monsoon rainforest is one of the beautiful experience. During the time of trekking, we get the chance to see the wonderful views of the mountain which includes Annapurna I, II, III, Dhaulagiri, fishtail and many other mountains of this region, While doing peak climbing in this route, we will enter the Annapurna conservation area which is the home of many rare birds, animals, flora, and fauna. This trek is regarded as one of the best treks that offer much of a distinct sensation. The starting trek offers superb landscape and cultural diversity as you get closer to the Tibetan border. Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival meet our office representative at the airport. You will transfer to the hotel and after reach in the hotel we will check out the hotel then after we will explore all around the Thamel Bazaar then we come back to the hotel and spend one night in Kathmandu valley.  

Day 02: Drive Kathmandu to Chame (2,710m) 9 - 10 hrs

If the hotel is able to make breakfast, we will do our breakfast and slowly move towards Chame. We will get an opportunity to see the wonderful views, landscapes, and the small villages and after 9 to 10 hours we will reach Chame where we will spend one night.

Day 03: Chame to Pisang (3,300m) 5 - 6 hrs

We will start the trek on this day from the other side of the river and we will walk along the northern edge of the river and pass pine forest. After walking through those wonderful sites we reach at Pisang where we will spend one night in this village.

Day 04: Pisang to Humde Village (3,330m) 3 - 4 hrs

As the trail up we get surrounded by majestic Himalayan peaks. The village of Humde has scattered settlement with a couple of teahouses and lodges. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will slowly move towards Humde village. After reaching Humde, first of all, we will check out the hotel and spend one night in this beautiful village.      

Day 05: Humde to Julu Khola (3,500m) 3 - 4 hrs

We will leave Humde and fallow the trail that is a leveled path for few hours, along with the less dense or thin vegetation. During the time of trekking, we can capture the Annapurna valley Himalayan views. And we will have our lunch on the way and slowly move towards Julu Khola where we will spend one night.     

Day 06: Rest Day in Julu Khola

Today we don’t start our trekking because today is for rest and we will take some rest. In the morning after having breakfast, we will go to explore all around the Julu Khola and we will have our lunch on the way then after again we will explore around the Julu Khola village and in the evening we will come back to the hotel and spend one night.

Day 07: Julu Khola to Chulu Far East Base Camp (5,000m) 5 - 6 hrs

After having breakfast early in the morning we will slowly move towards Chulu Far East base camp after spending the wonderful night in Julu Khola. On the way, we get the chance to see the wonderful views of the mountain, beautiful landscape; small villages and we will have lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Base Camp where w will spend one night.   

Day 08: Acclimatization Day at Chulu Far East Base Camp

Today we don’t start our trekking because today is for rest and we will take some rest. In the morning after having breakfast, we will go to explore all around the Chulu Far East Base Camp and we will have our lunch on the way then after again we will explore around the Chulu Far East Base Camp village and in the evening we will come back to the hotel and spend one night.

Day 09: Base Camp to Chulu Far East High Camp (5,500m) 3 - 4 hrs

In the early morning, we will slowly start our trekking towards Chulu Far East high camp after having breakfast. Today we follow a steep trail through snow slopes and we get the wonderful views of the mountain, landscapes, and beautiful small villages before reaching the high camp where we will spend one night.

Day 10: High Camp to Chulu Far East Peak (6,059m) to Base Camp 8 - 9 Hrs

Today is the day we all have desperately waiting for and following the guidance and instruction for our experienced climbing expert, we will overcome several technical sections and head towards the summits. After summiting the peaks we will come back to the hotel and after 9 hours walking we will reach Base Camp where we will spend the peaceful night.   

Day 11: Chulu Far East Base Camp to Manang (3,35m) 5 - 6 hrs

The section of trail at first brings up at Julu Khola from where we follow a level the trail along trail the forest to reach Manang. We will enjoy the fantastic views of surrounding snow-capped peaks; we head towards Manang valley where we will spend the peaceful night in this beautiful village.   

Day 12: Manang to Siri Kharka (4,060m) 4 - 5 hrs

We will have the opportunity to experience the traditional lifestyle of the local people while exploring the village of Siri Kharkha. From Manang, we continue our trek to reach Siri Kharka village following a rather easy slope. And we will spend the wonderful peaceful night in this beautiful village.  

Day 13: Siri Kharka to Tilicho Base Camp (4,140m) 5 - 6 hrs

We leave Siri Kharka for Tilicho Base Camp after having breakfast early in the morning. We will slowly start our trekking towards Tilicho base camp with along the several icy lakes and trek over the glacier to reach Tilicho Base Camp and we will continue our trek until we arrive at Tilicho Base Camp where we will spend one night.    

Day 14: Tilicho Base Camp to Tilicho Lake (4,949m)

Leaving Tilicho Base Camp for Tilicho Lake after having breakfast early in the morning and it is truly an amazing experience to explore around one of the beautiful lakes at higher altitude. After reach in Tilicho Lake, we will have our lunch and then we will explore all around the lake and spend one night here in a peaceful environment.  

Day 15: Tilicho Lake to Mesokanta La Pass to Yak Kharka (4,200m) 7 - 8 hrs

After spending the wonderful night in Tilicho Lake we will slowly move towards Mesokanta La Pass after having breakfast in the early morning. After reach in Mesokanta La Pass, we will have our lunch then after slowly move towards Yak Kharka where we will spend one night in this peaceful environment.

Day 16: Yak Kharka to Jomsom (2,743m) 5 - 6 hrs

The descending trail today ahead at first brings us at Thinigaon and we can enjoy the captivating views of Annapurna, Gangapurna and Tilicho Lake. From Marpha, we will follow a rather easy trail all the way to Jomsom and there is also a Jwala Mai temple where fire lights up eternally. We will get the chance to visit the old monastery before reach in Jomsom where we will spend one night in this beautiful village.   

Day 17: Jomsom to Pokhara (25 minute flight)

An early morning flight will take us to Pokhara from Jomsom and today we say goodbye to the trekking section of the trip in the Himalayan. After reach in Pokhara, first of all, we will check out the hotel then after we will have our lunch then after we will go to explore all around the Pokhara city. Besides, boating at Fewa Lake, visiting sacred places and sightseeing around the city is a good way to spend your day at Pokhara.      

Day 18: Pokhara to Kathmandu (6/7 hour Drive)

After having breakfast early in the morning we will slowly drive towards Kathmandu valley after spending the wonderful night in Pokhara. We will have our lunch and we will slowly move towards Kathmandu valley. We will get the chance to see small landscapes, beautiful villages, and we will reach Kathmandu valley where we will spend overnight.   

Day 19: Final Departure

Today early in the morning, you will send you to the airport after having breakfast in the hotel. A representative from Everest trekking routes will take us to the airport approximately three hours before the Scheduled flight.
