Lobuche Peak Climbing is the most challenging peak climbing and mountaineering of Himalayan Nepal. It is located in the eastern part of Nepal in the Everest region and it is equally rewarding. The peak is an attractive summit and offers various routes for climbing. This is a trip for adventurous people, who have good experience on ice and crampons and fixed ropes where necessary. A peak expedition offers panoramic Himalayan views of the Everest region, beautiful landscape, Tibetan Sherpa culture, and monasteries. Climbing in this route is usually both technically and physically very challenging activities. Lobuche Peak Climbing is one of the most adventurous mountaineering destinations in the Everest region which begins from Lukla after 30 minutes flight from Kathmandu valley. The trail leads us through the lush forest of Rhododendron, Pine, and Oak at the time of trekking. Physically and mentally fit and fine trekkers only can do this peak climbing in Nepal. During the time of climbing, we will get the chance to know about the culture, tradition, and the lifestyle of the Sherpa who is the local inhabitant of this region. You will have best holiday trip along with magnificent and enchanting hillsides or in the Himalayan region. This peak is not a difficult undertaking for a beginner climber wishing to enter the incredible world of mountain climbing. For peak climbing in this route the best season between March to April and October to November. Mostly Buddhist people are seen on this route and we get chance to see the oldest monastery of the Everest region. We also get the chance to explore the Sagarmatha national park which is the home of many rare birds, animals, flora, and fauna. This is an excellent activity for climbing in Nepal.

Day 02: Fly to Lukla then trek to Phakding (2,652m) 3-4 hours

Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) 5-6 hours

Day 04: Rest day in Namche Bazaar

Day 05: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m) 5- 6 hours

Day 06: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m) 5-6 hours

Day 07: Rest day in Dingboche

Day 08: Dingboche to Lobuche (4940 m) 5-6 hours

Day 09: Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170 m) 6-7 hours

Day 10: Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5545m) and back to Lobuche (4940m) 7-8 hours

Day 11: Lobuche to High Camp (5,400m) 3-4 hours

Day 12: Lobuche High Camp to Summit (6119m) and back to High Camp 8-10 hours

Day 13: Lobuche High Camp to Pangboche (3930m) 8-9 hours

Day 14: Pangboche to Namche Bazaar 4-5 hours

Day 15: Trek to Namche Bazaar to Lukla

Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu

Upon arrival meet our office representative at the airport. You will transfer to the hotel and after reach in the hotel we will check out the hotel then after we will explore all around the Thamel Bazaar then we come back to the hotel and spend one night in Kathmandu valley.  

Day 02: Fly to Lukla then trek to Phakding (2,652m) 3-4 hours

Early in the morning after having breakfast, we will move towards local airport of Kathmandu valley to fly towards Lukla. After 30 minutes flight from Kathmandu valley we will reach Lukla and after reach, in Lukla, we will take some rest then after we will slowly move towards Phakding where we will spend one night in this beautiful place. 

Day 03: Trek Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) 5-6 hours

Today is the first day of walking trekking of this route. The trail leads to Jorsale where you enter the Sagarmatha national park. Our trail takes us first over the Dudhkoshi River and a long suspension bridge before reaching Namche Bazaar where we will go to spend the peaceful night. 

Day 04: Rest day in Namche Bazaar

This day we do not start our trekking because today is for the rest day. After having breakfast we will go to explore all around Namche Bazaar. We will have our lunch on the way then after again we will explore the Namche Bazaar village and in the evening we will come back to the hotel and spend one night.    

Day 05: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m) 5- 6 hours

After having breakfast early in the morning we will slowly move towards Tengboche after spending the wonderful night in Namche Bazaar. We get an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain, beautiful landscape, and small villages before reach in Tengboche. It takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Tengboche from Namche Bazaar and spend one night in Tengboche.  

Day 06: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m) 5-6 hours

With the Himalayas as its backdrops, the monastery in Tengboche is in an excellent landscape. We will also see the small helipad that is used for helicopter rescues during emergencies. It takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Dingboche where we will spend one night.  

Day 07: Rest day in Dingboche

This day we do not start our trekking because today is for the rest day. After having breakfast we will go to explore all around Dingboche. We will have our lunch on the way then after again we will explore the Dingboche village and in the evening we will come back to the hotel and spend one night.    

Day 08: Trek Dingboche to Lobuche (4940 m) 5-6 hours

The trail continues to the Khumbu Glacier moraine and we find ourselves facing several great peaks. The next part of our adventure brings over craggy mountain terrain to Lobuche, a small settlement with the amazing view of the mountain.  

Day 09: Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170 m) 6-7 hours

Spending the wonderful night in Lobuche we will slowly start our trekking towards Gorak Shep after having breakfast early in the morning. On the way to our destination, we will approach the famed Khumbu glacier and icefall. After 6 to 7 hours walking we will reach Gorak Shep where we will spend one night.

Day 10: Trek Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5545m) and back to Lobuche (4940m) 7-8 hours

Early in the morning after having breakfast we will slowly start our tr4ekking towards Kala Patthar after spending the wonderful and peaceful night in Gorak Shep. After reach in Kala Patthar, we will explore all around the valley and then we will back to Lobuche where we will spend one night.

Day 11: Lobuche to High Camp (5,400m) 3-4 hours

We trek towards High camp. At the time of this day trekking, we get an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain, beautiful landscapes, and a small village of this route. It takes almost 3 to 4 hours to reach High camp Lobuche. We will go to spend the wonderful and the peaceful night in Lobuche.

Day 12: Lobuche High Camp to Summit (6119m) and back to High Camp 8-10 hours

Today early in the morning before the sunrise we will start our trekking towards to summit Lobuche Peak. We start our trek around 4 o’clock. We will have our breakfast and lunch on the way. After summiting the Lobuche Peak we will come back to High camp where we will spend one night.  

Day 13: Lobuche High Camp to Pangboche (3930m) 8-9 hours

We leave Island Lobuche High Camp for Pangboche after having breakfast early in the morning. Today walk will be a much easier as we descend to the lower altitude. We retraced the original steps of our ascent as we make our way back down the mountain again.   

Day 14: Pangboche to Namche Bazaar 4-5 hours

Leaving Pangboche for Namche Bazaar after having breakfast early in the morning and the walk from Pangboche to Namche Bazaar is mainly downhill. It takes almost 4 to 5 hours to reach Namche Bazaar from Pangboche. We will spend the wonderful and peaceful night in this beautiful village. 

Day 15: Trek to Namche Bazaar to Lukla

As the trail up we get surrounded by majestic Himalayan peaks. The village of Lukla has scattered settlement with a couple of teahouses and lodges. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will slowly move towards Lukla village. After reaching Lukla, first of all, we will check out the hotel and spend one night in this beautiful village.     

Day 16: Lukla to Kathmandu

If the hotel is able to make the breakfast then we will have our breakfast and then after we will go to the local airport of Lukla to fly towards Kathmandu valley. After reach in Kathmandu valley, first of all, we will check out the hotel then after we will have our lunch and explore all around the Kathmandu valley and spend one night in this valley.

Day 17: Final departure

Today early in the morning, you will send you to the airport after having breakfast in the hotel. A representative from Everest trekking routes will take us to the airport approximately three hours before the Scheduled flight.
