Manaslu trek solo is one of the most challenging and adventurous trekking routes in the Manaslu region. It is a combination of both Hindu and Buddhism culture. Nepal is the adventure junkies that get their thrill from the many trekking route and option to see some of the top ten tallest mountains in the world in just one trekking journey. While Manaslu circuit trek on the trip we get to marvel at the magnificent views of the world 8th highest mountain in the world. Manaslu trek solo is one of the thrilling trekking mountains and also it is extremely rich in natural beauty and cultural heritage. The trek is a strenuous trek and a good level of fitness and trekking experience is strongly advised. Among various forms of walking activities and hiking are very popular in Nepal. The area is bordered by River Budhi Gandaki and to the west river Marshyangdi. Traveling offers the best life lesson more than a formal education. During the time of trekking, we will pass through the lush forest, beautiful villages, landscape, flora, and fauna, and the wonderful views of the mountain of this region. The trek can be organized only as a full boarded camping trek.

Manaslu trek solo begins from Arughat after 8 hours drive from Kathmandu valley. The trekking area is located in the central eastern region of Nepal.  We will enter the Manaslu conservation area which is also known for the home of many rare birds, animals, flora, and fauna which is only found in some part of Nepal at the time of trekking. We will have a great view of the mountain which includes Manaslu, Ganesh I, II, III, IV, and many other mountains of this region. We will see Tamang people on this route. Most of the people of this region are influenced by Buddhism or it also can say that most of the people were Buddhist they believe in Buddhism. The most attractive thing in this region is its natural beauty, wonderful mountain views, landscapes, and cultural diversity of this region. One trekker should be physically and mentally fit and fine while doing trekking in this route. Manaslu trek solo is Different forests belts and geographical landscapes endow magnificent trails where walking lovers can enjoy. While trekking on this route, we need special trekking permit and without trekking permit, we cannot enter this route. The season between February to May and September to November is considered as the best season for trekking in Nepal for this route.

Day 03: Drive to Gorkha then trek to Kalikasthan (1060m) 9 to 10 hrs

Day 04: Kalikasthan to Arkhole (570m) 4 to 5 hrs

Day 05: Arkhole to Baluwa (800m) 6 hrs

Day 06: Baluwa to Barpak (1915m) 4 hrs

Day 07: Barpark to Laprak (2200m) 2 hrs

Day 08: Laprak to Khorlabeshi (875m) 7 to 8 hrs

Day 09: Khorlabeshi to Jagat (1370m) 5 hrs

Day 10: Jagat to Philim (1570m) 5 hrs

Day 11: Philim to Deng (1865m) 2 hrs

Day 12:  Deng to Ghap (2165m) 2 hrs

Day 13: Ghap to Lho (3180m) 1 hour

Detail itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

We will have the representative waiting for you at the airport upon your arrival. After welcoming in the airport, we will move towards Thamel bazaar where we will spend one night. Before we reach the hotel, we will see the Pashupatinath temple which is the famous temple for the Hindu people. In the Thamel Bazaar, we may also stroll in the streets. And we will have a great night in Kathmandu valley.  

Day 02: Explore a day in Kathmandu Valley

After breakfast, move to sightsee tours to world heritage sites of Pashupatinath Temple the holiest Hindu Temple on the bank of sacred Bagmati River, Boudhanath Stupa the biggest Buddhist Stupa architecture in the world, Swayambhunath Stupa-the 2000 years old legendary stupa on the hillock also nick-named as monkey temple. Your day tour ends Kathmandu Durbar Square Showcasing living goddess Kumari Temple, Nautale Durbar, the Kaal Bhairav, the Sweet Bhairav, the freak Street and more.

Day 03: Drive to Gorkha then trek to Kalikasthan (1060m) 9 to 10 hrs

If the hotel is able to make the breakfast then we will have our breakfast in the hotel and if not we will have our breakfast on the way. From Kathmandu, we will take the tourist bus towards Gorkha from where we officially start our trek. During the drive, we enjoy views of the Nepalese countryside along with the mountain scenery. After reach in Gorkha, we will have our lunch then we will move towards Kalikasthan where we will spend one night.    

Day 04: Kalikasthan to Arkhole (570m) 4 to 5 hrs

On the 3rd, we will slowly start our trekking towards Arkhole after having breakfast in the hotel where we spend one night. Today is the first-day walking trekking of our Manaslu circuit trek. Today we head down again to the river and cross another suspension bridge to reach Arkhole where we will spend one night.  

Day 05: Arkhole to Baluwa (800m) 6 hrs

After having breakfast, early in the morning, we will slowly start our trekking towards Baluwa after spending the wonderful night in Arkhole. We get an opportunity to see the lush forest, beautiful villages, and landscape, and the wonderful mountain views during this day trekking. We will have our lunch on the way and slowly move towards Baluwa where we spend overnight.

Day 06: Baluwa to Barpak (1915m) 4 hrs

Today we will move towards Barpak where we get an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain, beautiful villages, landscape, and the lush forest. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Barpak. After reach in Barpak we will check out the hotel first and we will explore the entire village and back to the hotel and spend one night.  

Day 07: Barpark to Laprak (2200m) 2 hrs

Having breakfast early in the morning, we will slowly move towards Laprak after the wonderful night in Laprak. We will pass through the lush forest of rhododendron, pine and oak tree. We will have our lunch on the way and take some rest where we have our lunch and slowly move towards Laprak where we will spend overnight.

Day 08: Laprak to Khorlabeshi (875m) 7 to 8 hrs

In the morning time, we will slowly move towards Khorlabeshi after spending the wonderful night in Laprak. We come across the forest field with birch, juniper, rhododendron, moss, and lichen. This is an excellent viewpoint for Mt Manaslu, Samdo, Nagdi Chuli, Sonam Himal, Manaslu glacier before reach in Khorlabeshi where we will spend one night in this village. 

Day 09: Khorlabeshi to Jagat (1370m) 5 hrs

We will spend some time here. And can enjoy the natural sauna in the hot spring and relieve all our tiredness and stress of the trek. We will cross the west bank of the Budhi Gandaki. We climb over a ridge and the trek along the river and then climb towards the villages of Jagat where we will spend one night in these beautiful villages.   

Day 10: Jagat to Philim (1570m) 5 hrs

Having breakfast early in the morning we will move towards Philim after spending the wonderful night in Jagat village. At the time of trekking, we will get the great view of the mountain which can be seen from this trail. We will spend one night in this beautiful village. 

Day 11: Philim to Deng (1865m) 2 hrs

We will leave Philim, cross the suspension bridges and reach Salleri from where the majestic views of Sringi Himal can be seen. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will slowly move towards Deng where we will spend one night. 

Day 12:  Deng to Ghap (2165m) 2 hrs

The trail passes through the forest and painted Mani stones and a corner from where we reach Ghap. From here we climb uphill to join the trail that leads to Bih. On the way will have our lunch on the way and we will slowly move towards Ghap where we will spend one night.   

Day 13: Ghap to Lho (3180m) 1 hour

After having breakfast, early in the morning, we will slowly start our trekking towards Lho after spending the wonderful night in Ghap. Today is the short day on our trekking because there are so magnificent views on the way to Lho where we will spend one night in this beautiful village. 

Day 14: Lho to Sama Gaon (3525m) 2 hrs

From Lho, we set out for our destination today. We will enjoy wonderful views of the mountain which includes Mt Manaslu from Lho village and also explore the famous Ribung Gompa. As you continue on the main trail, you soon reach the fields of Samagaou where we will spend one night.     

Day 15: Samagaon to Samdo (3850m) 4 to 5 hrs

In the morning time, we will slowly move towards Samdo after spending the wonderful night in Samagaon. We come across the forest field with birch, juniper, rhododendron, moss, and lichen. This is an excellent viewpoint for Mt Manaslu, Samdo, Nagdi Chuli, Sonam Himal, Manaslu glacier before reach in Samdo where we will spend one night in this village. 

Day 16: Acclimatization in Samdo

Today we don’t start our trekking because today is for the rest day. This is a day for rest at Samdo to give you some acclimation. We will be making our body active constantly by hiking to a nearby location or exploring the area so that our body used to the altitude.  

Day 17: Samdo to Dharamshala (4460m) 3 to 4 hrs

Early in the morning, after having breakfast we will slowly move towards Dharamshala after the wonderful night in Samdo.  We will have great mountain views on the way and we get an opportunity to see the beautiful villages of this route. The night will be spent at a lodge in Samdo.  

Day 18: Trek to Dharamshala (4930m) to Bhimtang (3590m) 8 to 9 hrs

We continue our walk down the edge. We cross the wooden bridge over Budhi Gandaki and begin walking upward. From Dharamshala, we will slowly move toward Bhimtang where we will have our lunch. After having lunch we will leave this place for Bimthang where we will spend one night.

Day 19: Trek to Bhimtang to Tilje (2300m) 6 hrs

We leave Bimthang for Tilije. After having breakfast early in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Tilije after spending the wonderful night in Bimthang. We make our way down towards high pasture and then a bridge over Dudh Khola. We walk down you cross a stream to reach Tilije we will spend one night in this village.  

Day 20: Tilje to Tal (1680m) 5 hrs

Leaving Tilije for Tal and we then cross the bridge over Dudh Khola and climb up through a Chorten-shaped arch. On the way, we will have our lunch then after we will slowly move towards Tal. Before reach in Tal, we will cross many suspension bridges then after we will reach Tal where we will spend one night.   

Day 21: Tal to Syange then drive to Besisahar

We will slowly move towards Syange after spending the wonderful night in Tal. After reach in the Syange, we will have our lunch and we will take some rest then after slowly move towards Besisahar. The road till moves through unpaved road and then you drive along the well-paved until you reach in Besisahar.

Day 22: Drive to Kathmandu

After spending the wonderful night in Besisahar, we will move towards Kathmandu valley. On the way, we will get an opportunity to see the beautiful natural scenery, landscapes and the small towns. After reach in Kathmandu valley, first of all, check out the hotel then after we will explore all around the Thamel Bazaar where we will spend one night.

Day 23: Final departure

Early in the morning, our staff will take you through the international airport to see you off. If your flight leaves early we will drop you off at the airport.
