Tsum Valley and Ganesh Himal Base Camp Trekking are one of the hidden gems of Nepal which is the holy hidden valley of happiness first descend. The valley continues to guard its distinct and natural treasure of clear stream. The higher towards this wonderful Himal Base Camp divide from Manaslu circuit route from the mid-trail. It is another popular less tourist trekking destination in Nepal Himalayas. The trail passes through Gorkha, the birthplace of modern Nepal home of King Prithvi Narayan Shah. In this trekking region, the entire brothers in the family are married to a single girl. The trail begins low, going through the lavish green field and little Hindu towns. This trekking area is situated on the central northern region of Nepal. Measured as one of the toughest trekking in Nepal so requires a good experience of Tsum Valley and Ganesh Himal Base Camp Trekking and a superior physical condition as this trekking provides the perfect views of mountains. This is one of the thrilling trekking mountains and also it is extremely rich in natural beauty and cultural heritage. The trek is a strenuous trek and a good level of fitness and trekking experience is strongly advised. The peak is the highest in the Gorkha District and it is not considered so difficult both mental and physical preparation is required.

Tsum Valley and Ganesh Himal Base Camp Trekking begin from Arughat after 7 to 8 hours drive from Kathmandu valley. At the time of trekking, we will pass through the lush forest, beautiful villages, and landscapes, wonderful views of the mountain, flora, and fauna. Tsum Valley and Ganesh Himal Base Camp Trekking are newly opened and this trekking route is restricted trekking route that’s why we need a special trekking permit for trekking in this route. We will enter the Manaslu Conservation area which is the home of the many rare birds, animals, flora, and fauna. The most interesting things about the trek are close interactions with the local and ethnic groups living around the route which provides a great opportunity to augments multi-cultures for tourists. The valley has a long history of Buddhism. Most of the people were influenced by the Buddhism. During the time of trekking, we will have a great view of the mountain which includes Manaslu Mountain. This area is also the homeland of the original Gurkha warriors. March to June and September to December is considered as the best season for trekking in this route. This Manaslu circuit trekking is one of the best treks known for its solidarity and preservation.

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

We will have the representative waiting for you at the airport upon your arrival. After welcoming in the airport, we will move towards Thamel bazaar where we will spend one night. Before we reach the hotel, we will see the Pashupatinath temple which is the famous temple for the Hindu people. In the Thamel Bazaar, we may also stroll in the streets. And we will have a great night in Kathmandu valley.  

Day 02: Explore a day in Kathmandu

If you weak up early in the morning you can round little in Thamel bazaar and back in Hotel for breakfast. after the finish, your breakfast then moves towards old heritage side some of the Hindu religion Like Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swambhunath, Kathmandu Darbar square, and Patan Darbar square etc.

Day 03: Drive to Soti-Khola (730 m) 07 hrs

If the hotel is able to make the breakfast then we will have our breakfast in the hotel and if not we will have our breakfast on the way. From Kathmandu, we will take the tourist bus towards Soti Khola from where we officially start our trek. During the drive, we enjoy views of the Nepalese countryside along with the mountain scenery. After reach in Soti Khola, we will check out the hotel and we will have a great night in this beautiful bazaar.    

Day 04: Trek to Machha-Khola (930m) 06 hrs

On the 3rd, we will slowly start our trekking towards Machhe Khola after having breakfast in the hotel where we spend one night. Today is the first-day walking trekking of our Manaslu circuit trek. Today we head down again to the river and cross another suspension bridge to reach Maccha Khola where we will spend one night. 

 Day 05: Trek to Jagat (1,410m) 06 hrs

This day we will trek towards Jagat. We will cross the west bank of the Budhi Gandaki. We climb over a ridge and the trek along the river and then climb towards the villages of Jagat where we will spend one night in these beautiful villages.  

Day 06: Trek Jagat to Lokpa (2240 m) 7 hrs

We will leave Jagat, cross the suspension bridges and reach Salleri from where the majestic views of Sringi Himal can be seen. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will slowly move towards Lokpa where we will spend one night.

Day 07: Lokpa to Chumling (2385 m) 5 hrs

After having breakfast early in the morning, we will slowly move towards Chumling after spending the wonderful night in Lokpa. We will enjoy the wonderful views of the mountain which includes Himalchuli, Boudha Himal, and a small beautiful village. We will visit the old Chumling Gompa where we will spend one night in this village. 

Day 08: Trek from Chumling to Chhokang Paro (3031 m) 5-6 hrs

The trek follows the Syar Khola and Rainjam and reaches to Chhekampo. We will cross the suspension bridges onto the opposite bank. The trail leads us through the lush forest, beautiful villages, landscapes, and the wonderful views of the mountain during the time of trekking. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Chokhangparo where we will spend one night.  

Day 09: Trek from Chhokang Paro to Chhule (3347 m) 6-7 hrs

We walk past Lamagaon crossing rope suspension bridges to the Rachen Gompa. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Chhule. We will keep walking until we don’t reach Nile where we will spend one night.

Day 10: Trek from Chhule to Mu Gompa (3700 m) 3 hrs

This day we are now almost close to the Tibet border where we walk to the west bank of the valley through the Tibetan landscapes. On the way, we have our lunch and then after keep walking until we don’t reach in Mu Gompa. And we will spend one night in this beautiful village.

Day 11: Trek from Mu Gompa to Rachen (3240 m) 5 hrs

We will leave Mu Gompa for Rachen village after the hot breakfast early in the morning. While doing this day trekking, we will pass through the beautiful forest, a small village, many monasteries, and the suspension bridges before reach in Rachen village where we will spend overnight.

Day 12: Trek from Rachen to Domje (2460 m) 6 hrs

During the time of trekking, we will enter the lush forest, beautiful small village, a small stream and natural and barren land and high altitude alpine grass. You will trek for today will end as you reach Domje and we will spend one night in this beautiful village.   

Day 13: Trek from Domje to Gumba Lungdang (3200 m) 6 hrs

Here, we will find the narrow trail and be moving towards Gumba Lungdang. On the way, you can enjoy views of Manaslu and Ganesh Himal. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will move towards Gumba Lungdang where we will spend one night in this beautiful village.

Day 14: Day hike in Ganesh Himal Base Camp (4200m) 7-8 hrs

Today we don’t start the trekking because today is for the rest day. We will be making our body active constantly by hiking to a nearby location or exploring the area so that our body used to the altitude. We will explore all around the Ganesh Himal Base Camp and after exploring the wonderful village we will come back to the hotel and spend one night in this village. 

Day 15: Trek Back Gumba Lungdang to Ripchet (2470m) 7 hrs

After the wonderful night in Ganesh Himal base camp, we will back towards Gumba Lungdang. We will cross many bridges, beautiful villages before reach in Gumba Lungdang. After reach in Gumba Lungdang, we will have our lunch then after slowly move towards Ripchet where we will spend one night. 

Day 16: Ripchet to Philim (1570 m) 7 hrs

Having breakfast early in the morning we will move towards Philim after spending the wonderful night in Ripchet village. At the time of trekking, we will get the great view of the mountain which can be seen from this trail. We will spend one night in this beautiful village. 

Day 17: Philim to Khorla Bensi (970 m) 7 hrs

The trek starts from Philim towards Khorlabesi. Today we will come down towards because today is the 2nd last day of our trekking. After 7 hour walk, we will reach Khorlabesi where we will spend one night.  

Day 18: Khorla Bensi to Soti Khola (700 m) 7 hrs

At the time of trekking, we will pass through the beautiful villages, small stream, and waterfalls on steeply rocky trails on the side of a cliff. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will slowly move towards Soti Khola where we will spend one night.  

Day 19: Drive Soti Khola to Kathmandu

After spending the wonderful night in Soti Khola, we will move towards Kathmandu valley. On the way, we will get an opportunity to see the beautiful natural scenery, landscapes and the small towns. After reach in Kathmandu valley, first of all, check out the hotel then after we will explore all around the Thamel Bazaar where we will spend one night.

Day 20: Final departure

Early in the morning, our staff will take you through the international airport to see you off. If your flight leaves early we will drop you off at the airport.
